The Berkhamsted Walk

The Berkhamsted Walk

Due to the ongoing new coronavirus situation, the walk will now not go ahead in May. We hope to organise something in the autumn, and will be in touch with more information. We will also post any updates on our Facebook page @BerkhamstedWalk.

In the meantime, thank you to those who have already donated through our Just Giving page. If you have chosen to to raise sponsorship money, please hold onto it! We will keep your details, so there will be no need to register again.

Thank you again for your support and we look forward to getting back to normal in 2021.

The Berkhamsted Walk is the town’s longest standing charity walk. Since it started in 1968, it has raised over £300,000 for the Children’s Society, providing help to vulnerable children.

All walkers are provided with a map and the walks are clearly signposted. There are refreshments at checkpoints every three miles or so and lifts to the finish are available if required.

Join us for a wonderful day out in some of the most beautiful countryside and support a great cause.

The Berkhamsted Walk

All the walks are self-guided so that you can go at your own pace and there are three options:

  1. The Fun Walk – 6 miles.
  2. The Bluebell Walk – 12 miles.
  3. The Challenge Walk – 18 miles

This website explains…

"Clear signposting made it easy to follow. I like the variety of country/paths/villages."

"My family and I had a great time and will definitely come again with other members of our family."
